Who I am and Where I've Been

I believe that we are an amalgamation
of the people and the organizations we have
interacted with, grown with and learned from.
In the past 20 years, I have professionally grown by serving
as an in-house consultant or independent contractor
at varying social enterprises, non-profits and venture philanthropy organizations.
I also co-founded and ran my own non-profit for 3 years.
I have been academically shaped by coursework taken as part of my
BA in International Relations from Wellesley College and my
MBA from George Washington University.
Workshops and immersion experiences in
Liberating Structures and Design Thinking
have further informed my work.
My life experiences have been shaped by the time I have spent in multiple cities and countries:
I was born in Honolulu, Hawaii;
I have spent my childhood in Karachi, Pakistan,
my youth in Montgomery County, Maryland,
my college years in the suburbs of Boston,
my early career between Karachi, Pakistan and the suburbs of Washington, D.C.
and my mid-career in Frankfurt, Germany.
I currently reside in Seattle, WA with my husband and two young sons.
